This document is applicable to all employees and all business units within the FloWorks group*.
FloWorks is committed to the elimination of discrimination in the workplace (employment and occupation), including where it may occur in the terms and conditions of employment. Discrimination in employment and occupation is defined as treating people differently or less favorably because of characteristics that are not related to their merit or the inherent requirements of the job, including gender, ethnicity, age, race, or any other legally protected category. FloWorks does not tolerate discrimination in any work-related activities, including, but not limited to access to employment, particular occupations, promotions, or training.
FloWorks has a zero tolerance for disrespectful or inappropriate behavior, unfair treatment, or retaliation of any kind. Verbal, sexual, or physical harassment or any other form of abuse is not tolerated. No employee may be retaliated against as a result of reporting or submitting a complaint of harassment.
FloWorks does not use, is not complicit in, and does not tolerate any form of modern slavery. FloWorks has controls in place to detect and prevent occurrences of modern slavery in business operations. Examples of controls may include risk assessments, interviews with subcontractors/suppliers, certifications or periodic audits of internal operations to identify modern slavery and human trafficking risks.
We also aim to respect the rights of local populations in areas where we operate.
FloWorks prohibits all forms of child labor and forced labor throughout our own operations in accordance with the ILO Minimum Age Convention, ILO Forced Labor Convention and ILO Abolition of Forced Labor Convention.
FloWorks respects employees’ lawful right of free association, as well as their lawful right to join or not to join a labor union or otherwise engage in collective bargaining.
FloWorks is committed to providing employees with an injury-free and healthy workplace. FloWorks complies with applicable laws on work hours and overtime, as well as all applicable laws on wages and benefits.
FloWorks pays its employees adequate compensation that is sufficient to meet their basic needs and is in line with regional standards for average wages.
FloWorks is committed to managing safety-related risks throughout our operations through processes and procedures. This may include conducting periodic safety risk assessments, providing training to employees, vehicle/site inspections, and other work tools, procedures, and resources to help employees reduce exposure to safety-related risks, such as personal protective equipment.
We also aim to promote the health and safety of our customers through continuous improvement in the quality of our products and the service we provide to our customers. FloWorks team of professionals maintains a fully documented quality control program to make sure that every specification requested by our customers is met. Our commitment to providing the highest industry standards in customer satisfaction remains our highest priority.
